THE WILLOWS

My inspiration when composing this song came later, only when I was done structuring the foundation of the song. By focusing on applying my research first, I was able to produce a result that I hoped for when combining classical and modern music. I feel that my own flair as a composer came in the middle parts separate from the "chorus." I feel that these parts paint a serene picture in the listener's mind filled with soft willow trees shifting gently in the summer wind. Hence, I named the song "The Willows" to reflect its mood.
TURMOIL

When writing this song, I was fed by the stress that seems to be present in my everyday life. These stressors can either drive me to do better or hinder me, affecting my proficiency. I chose to channel these confusing thoughts and feelings into a song that I felt properly displayed the tone while also reflecting my research. This song leans more towards the classical side than the modern side.

RECORDINGS
These recordings are the trials and errors of my first song that is currently a work in progress. They will most likely serve as an outline for how the final product will look.
The song audio links are organized into a document. The document will be updated or more will be linked in order to keep these recordings as up to date as possible.
